Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 11 concept car

The spectacular design is a modern evolution of the fascinating Berlina Aerodynamica Technica cars of the mid to late ‘50s constructed by Franco Scaglione. The front end is powerfully tapered to a V-shape with a efficient Alfa Romeo shield low down in the lean-forward nose. Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 11 has a Maserati V8 for force. While the mechanicals are Maserati, the brand is Alfa Romeo because of the exterior detailing , specially the traditional Alfa triangular shield and circulor top. The 21-inch wheels feature a dual layer of twisted spokes, the outer ones completed in carbon fiber that, according Gwen Pennarun, are a modern update of the unique Borrani wire wheels. “It’s a new idea that I recently brought to the company, but it’s certainly something I’d like to see happen.” said Martin.
