Geneva Auto Show 2009:Ferrari Rolls out New 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE

The 79th Geneva International Motor Show provides the venue for Ferrari to announce two new pieces of good news: the arrival of the sporty, dynamic Handling GT Evoluzione (HGTE) Package for the599 GTB Fiorano and the world debut of the 599XX which is a technological laboratory aimed at a select group of clients. The latter new car incorporates the most advanced technologies resulting from Ferrari’s road-going and F1 research. Many of the technological solutions it carries are being used for the first time and have been developed exclusively for this special car, the Fiorano has been around for nearly 3 years now, making its debut in Geneva 2006.

The new 599 GTB Fiorano equipped with the Handling GTE package will be finished in a new three-layer metallic Rosso, paint and will be introduced byFerrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo on the opening day at Geneva.

Ferrari's also toyed with the transmission electronics and exhaust system, and updated the interior with a sublime mix of leather, alcantara and carbon fiber. The new 20-inch split-five-spoke rims also do a nice job of filling the wheel wells to give the 599 an even more aggressive stance, as you can see from the live shots in the gallery below and the studio shots in the gallery below that.
